Sarah Mirza is an assistant solicitor who joined the firm in 2005. Sarah qualified as a solicitor in 2002 and has practised exclusively in criminal defence work since that date.
Prior to qualification Sarah undertook a training contract with Clinton Davis Solicitors in Hackney. She became an accredited police station representative and attended the local police stations regularly to defend suspects accused of a range of offences from theft through to serious assaults and murder. Following qualification Sarah moved to TNT solicitors in Kentish Town and travelled to Bosnia to assist a defendant standing trial at the Hague. Sarah was also involved in the preparation of a case for the Special Court in Sierra Leone.
Sarah has been qualified as a duty solicitor for a number of years and is on many of the local police station and court rotas. She regularly appears as an advocate in the magistrates’ court around London.
Sarah has an approachable manner and is adept at putting those who have not been through the criminal process before at ease.
